Meet the Doctor

Thora Powers, DVM

Dr. Thora Powers graduated from the University of Florida with Bachelor of Science degrees in Animal Science and Microbiology and Cell Science. From there, she enrolled in the University of Florida College of Veterinary Medicine, graduating in 2006. She worked as an associate veterinarian in South Florida for 12 years. Upon moving to Georgia, she elected to become primarily a stay-at-home mom, working occasionally as a contract veterinarian in a preventive care capacity.
